Deutsche Bank AG has announced that it would be starting its retail operations in Ludhiana which is one of the largest cities in Punjab.

The bank had recently launched its branch in Moradabad on 10th April 2010. With this the number of branches of the bank in the country has increased to 15. The bank has its presence in other north Indian cities of Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida.

The branch at Ludhiana would be providing all of the bank’s range of products and services to the customer.

The product range of the bank would include deposit products like current and savings accounts, private banking solutions, credit cards, mortgages as also investment and insurance products.

Tele banking services would also be provided to customers in addition to online banking facility which is one of the bank’s core competencies as well as access to ATM facilities.

Special solutions in the range of Cash Management and Trade Finance to corporate clients and SMEs based in Ludhiana would be provided by the banks.

The branch was inaugurated by Gunit Chadha, Managing Director and CEO, Deutsche Bank, India. Chadha said: “Ludhiana is one the premier cities of Punjab and we are delighted to offer our world class financial and advisory services in this vibrant market.”
