Central Bank of India has come up with a new facility named CentFast2India. The service has been launched to facilitate e-transfer of funds from USA.
“This facility offers a hassle-free funds transfer by remitters in the United States to beneficiaries in India through Internet banking,” Central Bank’s Chairman and Manging Director S Sridhar said.
“It gives freedom to the remitter in the United States to remit money at his convenience from any bank account anywhere in the US to any account in India,” Sridhar said.
As a beginner, the maximum amount that can be remitted has been given an upper ceiling of $5000.
Sridhar indicated the bank’s plan of action for the year saying that it would focus more on retail banking.
The bank has recently hiked deposit rates on selected maturities.

Who is the worst condo mangement company in Edmonton? Many of our readers live in condos that are professionally managed and for some management companies the term “professional” is a gross over statement. Many people do not realize that the condo management industry is unregulated, and that can leave Alberta condo owners in a lurch when they have a problem.
Last week I was working on a deal on where the buyer had numerous questions about the condo complex and documents. So they contacted the management company with their questions, as many prudent buyers do. After numerous unreturned calls (5 according to their agent) the buyers agent said if they didn’t hear from the condo manager they would not remove their condo condition because of his unanswered questions and his lack of confidence in the manager to perform their duties.
This prompted the seller to call to exert additional pressure. T

The American Bankers Association and Keybridge Research have released a study that shows nearly 40,000 jobs in the Massachusetts area were directly or indirectly created as a result of credit card borrowing by small businesses between 2003 and 2008.
On the national level, the survey noted that credit card lending to small businesses during the same timeframe resulted in the creation of 592,000 small business jobs with an addition 1 million indirectly created. As a result of the credit card’s impact on job creation, the study noted, any reduction in small businesses’ access to credit cards could result in a drop in their ability to hire new employees (Boston Globe).
